Moral Aspect

Web users with dissabilities have the right to use the web the same way all other people heve.
We have the moral right to build Accessible sites that remove the road blocks that prevent using them, thus opening the web to every user no matter how he browses the web.

Legal aspect

Every public site owner has has a legal obligation to make his site accessible. The equality for people with dissabilities law, passed 1998, clearly states that every public body has to give service to people with dissabilities.
In 1995 a chapter was added to that law, the accessibility chapter mandates making all public places accessible. the law declares accessibility as : the posibility to get to the place,be able to move around and orient yourself in it, be able to use and accept it's services, recive information given or produced in a service or location, or in affiliation to it, be able to use the facilities and activities, all equally, distigfully and safly.

Personal aspect

If you think for a moment - there is hardly no one that does not know personaly or through someone, a dissabled person.
Dissabilities come in a very wide range :
For example : eye sight problems range form total blidness, through visual impedimends of all sorts, color blindness, and more.
Web accessibility servers you to, your familiy, friends, as well as the general public

Social aspect

Unfortunantly in the current situation, Dissabled people are not treated equaly. Web accessibility provides equal oportunity for all peope in the virtual world. People with severe dissabilities that depend on other people benefit the most from web accessibility, since while browsing the web they are equal and do not depend on anyones help, enableling them to join the virtual sociaty.

Conforming to the web standards allow these people to achieve this goal.

Bussines aspect

As seen on the top of this page, about 25% of the population suffers from some kind of dissability. A person with a dissability the enters and inaccesible site will leave it in serach of a more accesible site. Our advantage at Imagine-Design is building all site in the W3C web standards, amking all site ready for accessibility implementaion.

Another huge aspect of making the site accessible is web serach optimization. search engines are basicaly blind web users, so making the site more accessible to blind people also makes them more accesible to search engines robots.
